You’re Gonna Get Live Ins…
The title is an inside joke for anyone who is an Arrested Development enthusiast. If you’re not into that show by now, you should be.
I really don’t see where they get off putting in Uncle Joey. I mean sure he might be a little “odd” to your conventional person but honestly I think he wouldn’t be half bad to live with. He’d definitely would be better then Uncle Jesse, I mean you wouldn’t have to fight for mirror time in the bathroom right?
Anyone left off the list you think that should be on it? And kudos to the person who put this together for putting Cody from Step by Step in there, pure classic.

Am I getting Younger?
I highly doubt it. But my attention span and focusing abilities sure seem to be taking a hit as of late. I wouldn’t be surprised if you see me drooling and incoherent by year’s end.

Haircut Reality…
So I have been contemplating getting my hair cut for some time now, not just a trim but something completely different then I would usually get. And I accomplished that today with the introduction of the Faux-Hawk into my hair vocabulary. To be honest I was kind of scared going into and during the actual cut but it turned out alright, anyway for the idea that I had while I was getting sheared.
Have you ever been to one of those restaurants that say if you are not completely satisfied with your meal you don’t have to pay for it? Well I think that haircuts should be the same, but instead of you being unsatisfied with your new doo, there would be a panel of strangers that would determine if you pony up the cash or not. I say just grab five strangers passing by the hair shop and get the thumbs up or thumbs down. If the majority if them like it you pay, if not then you walk.
See this system would prevent rogue hairstylists that are out just to make you look stupid…I mean we all know that they are out there.

Come All You Weary…
Come all you weary with your heavy loads
Lay down your burdens find rest for your souls
Cause my yoke is easy and my burden is kind
I’ll take yours upon me and you can take mine
Come all you weary, move through the earth,
You’ve been spurned at fine restaurants and kicked out of church;
I’ve got a couple of loaves, so sit down at my feet,
lend me your ears and we’ll break bread and eat
Come all you weary
Come gather round near me
Find rest for your souls
Come all you weary, crippled you lay
I’ll help you along you can lay down your canes
We’ve got a long way to go but we’ll travel as friends
The lights growing bright further up, further in
Come all you weary
Come gather round near me
Find rest for your souls
Rest for your souls
Come all you weary
Come gather round near me
Come all you weary
Come gather round near me
Find rest for your souls
Rest for your souls
Rest for your souls

The Anti-Rick
So I am on lunch the other day at work and I start reading a magazine called TIME which you may have heard of. Well when I picked it up I was quite surprised to see a familiar face on the cover…none other then Mr. 40 Days of Purpose himself, Rick Warren. There was a 5-6 page article on Warren and everything he has done to precede the Presidential ”Debate” that he headed up last week. It was a pretty decent article, and from what I could tell a pretty accurate portrayal of Rick.
And then I thought of something.
You know those Christians that always say that the next President is going to be the Anti-Christ? I’m sure that you’ve heard people joke around about Obama and Hillary as being such…but what if it was one of our own? Someone that we don’t expect it to be, (you know like Scripture says)…What if it was someone like *gasp* Mr. Warren himself?
Now before you get you panties in a knot, I am not actually suggesting that Rick IS the Anti-Christ, just tossing that whole thought process out there…and Hillsong will be his house band…
Either way I can tell you one thing for sure, I hate the popping sound that frogs make when you run them over with your car.

So I’m Older…
I have to say that with each year that passes I become more curious. Curious if I am living up to my full potential. Curious about the opportunities that I have missed up to this point. Curious about the opportunities that are yet to come.
Birthdays are typically something that, as you get older, mark a “downhill” slide into death and seem to be a depressing thing for people. But really it should be looked at one more thing that you have accomplished, one more thing that you can say you’ve made it through, and you should look forward to the journey of the the next year until your next one because you don’t really know where its going to take you.
So here’s to another year of stuff to do, I mean really death ain’t that bad anyway.

Keep Coming Back…
I am not exactly sure why but I always come back to blogging, maybe because I hate being a slogger like so many other people…or maybe because I love sharing things that I have found with everyone that will bother to check my site. Who knows?
I like the idea of using something like Word Press to host my blog instead of using iWeb like I am for my photography site…mainly because there are going to be fewer maintenance issues to focus on which leaves more time for blogging…in theory anyway…plus I can blog from my iPod now too! So thanks for stopping by, for probably the billionth time and let’s make this good.
